- Universal health care should be a state issue, not a federal issue. Per Federalist 45, people's day-to-day lives should be governed by the states, not by the federal government. If the people of a state want it, then go for it.

- Art I, Sec 8, Paragraph 1 is a grant of power to collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises. James Madison, a.k.a. Father of the Constitution, said that the "general welfare" clause was NOT a blanket grant of power to the federal government.
